Trishna Patel
Biography
Trishna was born in Navsari (Gujarat), India and was raised in Auckland, New Zealand. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in Geography and Psychology in 2018 and her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geography at the University of Auckland. Currently she is a post-graduate student, working towards her Masters of Science qualification. She has taken a keen interest in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and social aspects of sustainable development. Particularly, in relation to children, communities and education. Her current research focusses on DRR implementation in New Zealand’s education curriculum. She is fluent in Gujarati and English and can manage to understand Hindi.
