Biography

Nileema Narayan was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Human Geography. Along with her Geography major, she also has a minor in history which she completed in 2018, as part of a Bachelor of Arts. She has previously been employed as a research assistant, and has volunteer experience as an AUSA Buddy. Her primary research interests include disaster risk reduction, urban disaster risk, Lego based DRR, policy and participation. Relevant skills include qualitative research methods, archival research, participatory approaches and report writing. She is a native english speaker and is proficient in speaking hindi.
