Biography
Luba recently graduated at AUT with a Postgraduate Diploma in Emergency Management. She had been interested in homeless people in New Zealand, the National Public Educational Programme of Emergency Preparedness in New Zealand and urban risks during emergencies within the academic papers. Luba has an over 13-year experience in public health providing social work and social services for a vulnerable population (Kids Cancer Hospital, NGO). Successfully employed a range of project and programmes for the residents working with key stakeholders and hospital administration. As a team lead launched multiple fundraising campaigns and ran special events. Confident in volunteer management, coaching and mentoring teams. She goes on professional development in disaster risk management, practical experience in the New Zealand context and applying knowledge, experience and skills into practical sustainable solutions in the real-world environment. Currently, Luba is working in elderly care doing health and safety at the Quality and Wellbeing department. She speaks English and Russian.
