Biography

Emma Mills (she/her) is an honours of geography student at Waipapa Taumata Rau - The University of Auckland. She holds a Bachelor of Science with majors in both Geography and Environmental Science. This combination of majors developed her interest in environmental and climate conditions, environmental management, and community participation and awareness of the environment. These interests have aided the shaping of her dissertation topic, which explores the long term impacts of the community-based environmental restoration project ‘Project Twin Streams’ which is based in West Auckland. Born in Auckland New Zealand, Emma is fluent in English, and speaks basic Italian which she is continuing to develop.
